Medieval Knight at Tournament.
Feel the challenge of exploration and discovery as a Viking. Learn about
the life of the Norsemen of old, sailing the world and exploring the
far lands of legend.
Explore history as it comes alive at Knight for a Day Camp, choose
"Viking Age Challenge", "Tournament of Chivalry", or both! Campers
experience history through hands-on activities. They'll make models of
period armor, try on real armor, and examine real medieval artifacts.
Participants learn to create models of period armor (constructed of
kid-friendly materials) and have the unique opportunity to hold and
examine actual artifacts and tools from the Oakeshott Institute
Collection.
On the last day of camp, participants test their handiwork and skill in a
